Create 4 seasonal glass ornaments using hand tools, colorful glass and a bit of imagination. These fun ornaments will make a great addition to any tree or use them as a package tag. This class will use some glass that may have sharp edges. Students must be able to use a tweezers and follow safety guidelines. Suitable for ages 6 and up. Items will be fired and will need to be picked up at a later date.

Enjoy creating a field of flowers using the ancient art of glass fusing. This 6” x 10” glass sun catcher is made by laying colorful glass, stringers and frit which is then fired in a kiln. High temperature hooks will be added so that a chain or ribbon can be used for hanging. Due to the kiln firings you will need to return to pick up your item at a later date. Mushrooms are such a fun thing to add to the garden or a pot of flowers. In this class you will learn how to create a mushroom using pieces of clear glass and colored frit. You will create three mushroom caps measuring approximately 4-5” in diameter. The mushrooms will be kiln fused and when complete hardware will be added. A piece of copper will be supplied for the stem.

What would summer be in the land of 10,000 lakes without a little fishing? This whimsical fish chime is such a fun project and every fish turns out unique. Create your fish using colorful strips of opaque and transparent glass that you cut and stack to create the shape. Add some small skeleton fish for the chimes. When you pick up your fired project you can string the chime if desired or take it home to string.

This 10 inch fused glass bowl is fun to make and can be customized for your décor. Glass frit gives this bowl the lines of color. Changing the color of frit, making the width of the frit more robust or outlining certain design aspects of the design gives this bowl lots of design flexibility. This is a design to have fun with! This is a fun project that allows you to use transparent glass to create patterns or scenes that catch the light and create a dancing rainbow of color. Tumbled and precut glass squares are offered in this class making it safe for little hands. These plant stakes would make a great Mother’s day gift.
